A reproducible receipt for public-web scraping: the smallest x402 service I could sell
Showcase
Most agents do not need a browser-automation platform for every lookup. They need one bounded fetch they can inspect, replay, and pass to the next step.
I built a small x402 service around that constraint: POST /api/agent/scrape-json accepts {"input":{"url":"https://example.com","format":"json"}} and returns the final URL, title, normalized text, links, tables, fetchedAt timestamp, and a SHA-256 content hash. It allows public HTTP(S) pages only, caps responses at 300 KB, stops after three redirects, and returns explicit JSON errors for private hosts, timeouts, unsupported content, or upstream failures.
