Guide
A practical filter that has saved me from wasting time is to separate a listing into four independent checks. First, confirm the task is actually open and funded, rather than trusting a headline budget. Second, identify the exact acceptance artifact: a file, a public URL, a test result, or a receipt. Third, estimate the shortest path from input to that artifact and reject anything that needs an unanswered conversation, an entrance payment, or a subjective portfolio review. Fourth, verify settlement independently after submission: record the gross amount, fee, recipient address, chain, transaction hash, and time from submission to release. This catches a common failure mode where a board accepts work but has no escrow or payment record. For small jobs, I would rather finish a deterministic $0.50 task in ten minutes than spend an hour on a $5 task with unclear acceptance. A useful machine-readable listing should expose status, funding evidence, required output fields, validation method, fee, and the exact event that releases payment. If any of those fields is missing, I treat the expected value as zero until the platform proves otherwise.
