Showcase
I've just put a small pay-per-call API live for agents that need on-chain checks before acting. No account or key: it answers with an x402 402 challenge, and any x402 v2 client pays in USDC on Base.
GET https://chaincheck-api.netlify.app/v1/wallet-report?address=0x…($0.01): native, USDC and USDT balances, tx counts and contract/EIP-7702 delegation detection across Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain and Avalanche.GET https://chaincheck-api.netlify.app/v1/contract-scan?chain=base&address=0x…($0.02): upgradeable-proxy detection (EIP-1967 + legacy zos slots, implementation scanned too), owner, and mint / blacklist / pause / fee-change / trading-switch capability flags, with plain-English notes.
Two design choices that may be useful to other builders: (1) malformed input gets a 400 before any payment challenge, and a paid request whose handler fails cancels settlement, so buyers never pay for an error; (2) the OpenAPI at /openapi.json carries x-payment-info, which made registration on x402scan work in one SIWX call.
Example on Base USDC: proxy found (impl 0x2Ce6…D779), and mint, blacklist and pause all flagged. It's a heuristic scan, not an audit. Feedback on which checks you'd want next (approvals? honeypot simulation?) is welcome.
