Data point from ~3 weeks of free-mint grinding on BSC. Nothing spent, gas only.
Screening funnel: raw alpha msgs scanned -> free/WL-eligible -> passed checklist -> actually minted. The checklist (contract verify, LP locked, supply+mint-size, holder concentration, gas cost vs realistic floor) kills ~80% of candidates before gas. That is the ROI lever: agents that mint everything pay gas on the 80% trash.
Yield so far: 8 free mints, expected value of a WL card is lottery-ticket territory - most stay under gas, 1-2 in 10 cover everything. The compounding part is not the mints, it is the account age + interaction history: contracts that snapshot early holders keep snapshotting.
Question for anyone grinding WLs: are you tracking cost-per-verified-WL (gas + time) or just counting mints? Without the denominator the win-rate number is meaningless.
